Jury is still out

I ordered the 772 high build primer kit. This week was the first time I tried it. I had a prepped with 180 grit; door mounted vertically on a stand in spray booth so I could spray both sides. Temperature was in the low 90's and humidity in the 60's. 1 to 1 mix after shaking the primer can for a few minutes. One note, I hate the round top for the hardener, should have been a top with pour spout like the reducer one gallon cans have.
Induction time was 35 minutes. My first time is very strange, I used a 1.8 nozzle at 20 psi for the gun I was using, a devilbiss CVI. So glad I did not use regular primer gun with 2.2 tip as the material went on smooth then flowed down like a water fall. I let it set for 24 hours and then started sanding with 120 grit paper to get all the runs out. It did sand ok. I'm going cut way back on spray material and reduce spray pressure to 18 lbs. Lay the door on it's side and just spray the outside portion and will see how that does. Never had a high build primer act this way, may just be a learning curve with this.

High Build Epoxy 👍🏼

Finally tried to 772 I couldn’t be more impressed.
I’m a solid user or 660 series epoxy followed up with 5300.
Had a restoration that didn’t really much body work so i decided to give it a try.
After pulling the cans off the shaker and mixed them up 4:1:2 with 1370 stirred for a few minutes checking the viscosity i grabbed a gun with a 1.6 and sprayed 2 wet coats.with 20psi at the regulator is (10psi) at the cap.

Product laid down perfectly flat didn’t look like it had any build to it.
12 hours later it was a little tacky still, not surprised due to the weather being in the low 40’s at night.
Gave it some heat room temp 88° panels were 78°
Within a couple hours it was able to be sanded without any paper clog.
some of my panels had small dings in them that went away after it was blocked out they were filled and flat never broke through to the metal.

Can’t thank the entire Barney family enough for the outstanding products they make and sell.

Christine and Mark as always thank you both for taking the time for my questions.
