High Build Epoxy 👍🏼

Finally tried to 772 I couldn’t be more impressed.
I’m a solid user or 660 series epoxy followed up with 5300.
Had a restoration that didn’t really much body work so i decided to give it a try.
After pulling the cans off the shaker and mixed them up 4:1:2 with 1370 stirred for a few minutes checking the viscosity i grabbed a gun with a 1.6 and sprayed 2 wet coats.with 20psi at the regulator is (10psi) at the cap.

Product laid down perfectly flat didn’t look like it had any build to it.
12 hours later it was a little tacky still, not surprised due to the weather being in the low 40’s at night.
Gave it some heat room temp 88° panels were 78°
Within a couple hours it was able to be sanded without any paper clog.
some of my panels had small dings in them that went away after it was blocked out they were filled and flat never broke through to the metal.

Can’t thank the entire Barney family enough for the outstanding products they make and sell.

Christine and Mark as always thank you both for taking the time for my questions.

Stuff is a bit different

770 primer had a long cure time and needed a lot of heat(75°-90°)... Also, the hardner must be mixed with a mechanical mixer- doing it by hand is out of the question.

I reduced this with with hr1370 - reducing is all but required... If youre gonna get this kit, add at least a quart maybe 2 of reducer to your order... Also- you will want to have at least a bit of hp1001 universal accelerator... Drying time is just a bit different than what i have worked with before.

Just ordered the accelerant so will try that next and update review at a later date.

All in all, seems to stick increadibly well, and overall, a great product, but you need to know those few things if you wanna use it.

***update***
Accelerater does the trick but your sill into the hours range for drying times... It likes warmth for curing. Its like spraying marshmallow cream on though, on terms of high build- it is definitely that... Takes a bit of getting used to... Laquer thinner clean up.
I recommend this product... Its great once you get used to it.
Also, before adding the accelerater, i reccomend letting it sit in the pot for 20-30 minutes before you spray it
