If you want a helmet that turns heads from every angle, Kevin Kegler’s latest creation is a perfect example of bold artistry and flawless technique. This airbrushed masterpiece combines vivid colors, sharp details, and a seamless finish – all brought to life using Tamco Paint’s premium products.
Kevin began by ensuring a perfect base for adhesion, applying HP2010 Top Dawg Adhesion Promoter to the helmet. He then followed with HP5312 White DTM (Direct to Metal) Primer Kit, providing a strong foundation for the layers ahead.
For the base tones, Kevin used Blizzard Of Ozz White Pearl mixed with Stellar Russet for unique warmth and shimmer. He then built up depth and detail with a variety of Tamco Intensity colors, Black Out Black, Chalk White, Red Red Wine, and Silver Bling, along with shades from the Intensity Airbrushing Paint Variety Pack
To bring a gory, brain-like effect to life, Kevin incorporated OG Red Candy Concentrate over select areas, adding rich transparency and vibrancy. Each stage was sealed and protected with HC895 Intercoat & Clearcoat, ensuring crisp lines between layers.
The final step was locking in the entire design with HC9500 Hi-Speed Impact 30 Min Clearcoat Kit, delivering a durable, glossy finish ready for the track or display. HR Reducers were used throughout for perfect spray consistency.
