When Kevin Kegler gets to work, even a hockey helmet becomes a canvas for creativity. For this design, he pulled from Tamco Paint’s Intensity line, combining vivid colors and precise detailing to create a striking, game-ready masterpiece.
He began with HP2010 Top Dawg Adhesion Promoter to ensure the paint bonded perfectly to the helmet’s surface. From there, Kevin layered Patriot Blue, Red Red Wine, Chalk White, Black Out Black, Yellow Sunrise, and the vibrant Oh My Orange, blending shades from the Intensity Airbrushing Paint Variety Pack for depth, contrast, and bold color transitions. Mixed with HR Reducers, the paints flowed smoothly, allowing for crisp details and flawless coverage.
To lock in the artistry, he finished with HC9500 Hi-Speed Impact 30 Min Clearcoat Kit, delivering a high-gloss, impact-resistant finish that can handle the roughest plays while keeping the design fresh.
The result is a helmet that’s not just protective gear, but a moving piece of art, a testament to Kevin’s skill and the lasting performance of Tamco products.
