Inspired by Lavallee’s dynamic style, Kevin Kegler created a breathtaking portrait that blends heroism with fantasy, a fearless firefighter locked in a fiery battle against a dragon. Using Tamco Paint’s Intensity Yellow Sunrise, Oh My Orange, Black Out Black, and Chalk White, Kevin built the blazing tones and bold contrasts that make the scene come alive.

To add even more vibrance and depth, he incorporated Tamgerine Candy Concentrate and Lemonade Candy Concentrate, layering them over the base colors for that luminous, glowing effect. The entire piece was expertly prepared with HP2010 Top Dawg Adhesion Promoter to ensure a flawless foundation, and HC895 Intercoat & Clearcoat was used during the process for smooth, durable transitions between effects.

The final finish came courtesy of HC2104 High Solids Clearcoat, which locked in the rich colors and added a deep gloss that enhances every detail, from the firefighter’s protective gear to the dragon’s fierce, flame-filled form. HR Reducers ensured perfect application flow, allowing Kevin’s skill and creativity to shine without compromise.
