Richard Romanelli recently finished a custom paint project that shows just how much a vehicle can change with the right vision. He took a 1977 Dodge B100 Van and turned it into a real head turner by using two very different but perfect colors: Tamco Paint's SoCal Blue - Candy Pearl Basecoat and Slick Silver Metallic. The way these colors flow together across the body creates a smooth look that really catches the eye.
Building a custom look like this starts long before the color goes on. Richard used HP5310 Grey DTM (Direct to Metal) Primer Kit to get the metal ready and protected. After the primer was set, he applied Forever Seal to make sure the basecoat would stick perfectly and the colors would stay vibrant for years. For the final step, he used HC2105 Extra Slow High Solids Clearcoat Kit.
