Matt Hutcheson’s latest automotive project is nothing short of a cosmic masterpiece. Using Tamco Paint products, he created a finish that blends depth, sparkle, and drama with flawless execution. The foundation began with HP5311 Black DTM (Direct to Metal) Primer Kit, ensuring a strong and even surface. Over this, he laid down Slick Silver Metallic, adding a metallic shimmer that set the stage for the colors to come.
Next, Hutcheson incorporated Galaxy Grey with a darker fade mix, followed by the intense tones of Black Metal Candy Concentrate, bringing striking dimension and bold contrast. To enrich the finish even further, he applied layers of SoCal Blue Candy Pearl Basecoat and Monaco Candy Pearl Basecoat, creating vibrant, shifting tones that capture the light from every angle.
Between stages, HC895 Intercoat & Clearcoat was used to lock in each layer, and the project was completed with seven coats of HC2104 High Solids Clearcoat . The result is a sleek, high-gloss surface that not only showcases Hutcheson’s artistic talent but also demonstrates the unmatched versatility of Tamco Paint.
