Rachel Beam brought her creativity and adaptability to life with a stunning custom board design using Tamco Paint products. Every step of her process showcased not only her artistry but also the versatility of the materials she chose.
To prepare the surface, she began with HR398 Final Wipe to ensure a clean, contaminant-free base. She then applied HP5310 Grey DTM (Direct to Metal) Primer Kit, establishing a smooth and reliable foundation for the layers to come.
For the flake effect, Rachel used Punk Rock Pink Candy Concentrate, laying the groundwork for a vibrant finish. She followed by painting the board black and sealing it with another coat of HC895 Intercoat & Clearcoat, locking in the depth and shimmer. Adding personality and flair, she introduced Punk Rock Pink Candy Concentrate, which delivered a vivid pop of color that made the design truly unique.
Although she encountered challenges with HC4100 Glamour Clearcoat Kit, Rachel cleverly adapted by returning to HC895 Intercoat & Clearcoat to correct the finish, ultimately reverting back to the black-over-flake base. This flexibility not only salvaged the project but also elevated the final outcome.
Rachel’s project is a testament to both her problem-solving skills and the effectiveness of Tamco Paint products, proving that creativity and adaptability go hand in hand in custom painting.
