Kevin Kegler took on a unique project with this custom-painted helmet, transforming it into a true piece of art using Tamco Paint products.
The process began with HP2010 Top Dawg Adhesion Promoter, ensuring the helmet had a strong base for the paint to properly adhere. Once prepped, Kevin applied Slick Silver Metallic as the foundation, giving the surface a brilliant, eye-catching shimmer.
Next, he layered on OG Red Candy Concentrate, bringing depth and a bold pop of color to the design. To secure the candy and maintain a seamless flow, he used HC895 Intercoat & Clearcoat along with HR Reducers, allowing for smooth application and control.
For the final step, Kevin topped the helmet with HC9500 Hi-Speed Impact 30 Min Clearcoat, delivering a durable, high-gloss finish that not only protects the paint but also amplifies its shine.
From start to finish, Kevin showcased both precision and creativity, proving that even a helmet can be elevated into a professional-grade custom project.
