Lee Pollard’s incredible paintwork proves just how far creativity can go when paired with Tamco Paint’s high-quality products. For this project, Lee took an experimental approach, mixing SoCal Blue 2K Candy Kit and Kandy Killa Blue 2K Candy Kit at a 50/50 ratio, to create a jaw-dropping custom color that radiates depth and brilliance.

The process began with three coats of Slick Silver Metallic, establishing a brilliant reflective base. Lee then applied six coats of his custom candy blend, layering the SoCal Blue and Kandy Killa Blue for a vibrant finish that shifts beautifully in the light.

To ensure optimal flow and control during application, Lee used HR Reducers, which allowed the candies to lay down flawlessly. For protection and ultimate gloss, he finished the project with a dual-clear approach: five coats of HC4105 Extra Slow Glamour Clearcoat Kit for maximum depth and durability, followed by HC7600 2 Hour Air Dry Clearcoat to seal everything with a rock-hard, show-quality shine.

The result is a one-of-a-kind masterpiece that captures attention instantly, proving that mixing Tamco Candies can unlock endless creative possibilities. Lee’s work stands as a testament to the artistry and innovation behind custom automotive paint.
