Ashley Rebecca Horsley recently pushed the boundaries of creativity with a large-scale custom paint project, completing a total of 22 pieces with Tamco Paint.
She started with a strong foundation using Slick Silver Metallic, laying the perfect reflective base for the vibrant candies to shine. From there, Ashley applied SoCal Blue Candy Concentrate, delivering a rich, dynamic blue that comes alive under the light. Adding a unique artistic twist, she blended in Black Metal Candy Concentrate, achieving a one-of-a-kind fade effect that set her work apart.
To achieve the right balance and flow, she relied on HR Reducers and the CC3000 Candy Carrier, carefully calculating her material usage, about a quart of silver, 2 ½ pints of candy concentrate, and just under a gallon of carrier. This precise approach showcases her meticulous planning and dedication to perfection.
The result is a visually stunning collection of pieces with seamless fades, vibrant tones, and a striking custom finish that highlights Ashley’s skill and artistic vision.
