Cody Rountree, a visionary in the world of custom design, transformed a helmet into a mesmerizing display of color and light using Tamco Paint’s premium Candy Concentrates.
He began with a Slick Silver Metallic base, providing a reflective foundation to enhance the vibrancy of the candies layered on top. Each hue was applied over HC895 Intercoat & Clearcoat, ensuring smooth blends and crisp separation between colors.
Cody’s palette included Burplicious Candy Concentrate for a playful pop, Teal Time Candy Concentrate for a soothing aquatic depth, and Lemonade and Tamgerine Candy Concentrate for zesty bursts of brightness. The bold OG Red Candy Concentrate brought intense warmth, while Pennywyze Candy Concentrate added a rich, opulent touch. These layers seamlessly transitioned and shifted under different lighting, creating a dynamic “color dance” effect.
HR Reducers were used throughout to maintain ideal spray consistency, and the entire masterpiece was locked in with HC9500 Hi-Speed Impact 30 Min Clearcoat Kit, delivering a high-gloss, durable finish.
