Kevin Kegler is a master of his craft, blending vibrant colors and intricate details to create mesmerizing works of art. His signature style features precise airbrushing, dramatic chalk white and grey shading, and an expertly layered sequence of Tamco Candy Concentrates to achieve unmatched depth and brilliance.
For this piece, Kevin began with Tamco's HP2010 Top Dawg Adhesion Promoter to ensure superior paint adhesion. He then applied Tamco Intensity Chalk White as the primary base coat, followed by Tamco Intensity Silver Bling to enhance luminosity and create a striking foundation for the candy colors.
The artwork came alive with layers of Tamco Candy Concentrates Monaco, Punk Rock Pink, Grapeness, Hustlin, and Teal Time (used specifically for the eyes), while Black Metal Candy Concentrate was added to deepen shadows and increase contrast. Between candy applications, Kevin used HC895 Intercoat & Clearcoat to lock in each stage and maintain clarity.
HR Reducers were utilized throughout for smooth, consistent spray performance, and the final finish was achieved with HC9500 Hi-Speed Impact 30 Min Clearcoat Kit, providing a brilliant gloss and lasting protection.
