Joshua Morey of Grumpy's Customs NC, LLC delivered a show-stopping finish on this motorcycle gas tank, using a full suite of Tamco Paint products to achieve a smooth, high-gloss look that radiates from every angle. The bold orange tone of Tamgerine Candy Concentrate gives the tank its signature pop, while the layered clearcoats add depth and durability.
Joshua began the process with HP5310 Grey DTM (Direct to Metal) Primer Kit to establish a solid foundation, followed by a shimmering base of Slick Silver Metallic. He then applied the vibrant Tamgerine Candy Concentrate, blended with HC895 Intercoat & Clearcoat for smooth transitions and color control. To finish, he sealed the tank with HC2104 High Solids Clearcoat Kit, delivering a mirror-like gloss and long-lasting protection. HR Reducers were used throughout to ensure flawless flow and consistency.
This build is a perfect example of how expert technique and premium products come together to create a standout custom finish.
