Nathan Hein turned a simple helmet into a head-turning work of art using a bold combination of Tamco Paint’s Tamgerine Candy Concentrate and Sarsaparilla Candy Concentrate. The result? A rich, multi-toned finish that radiates personality and precision, with a deep gloss that commands attention.
To prep the surface, Natez used HR397W Waterbourne Wax & Grease Remover followed by HR398 Final Wipe for a clean base. He then laid down a shimmering coat of Slick Silver Metallic to set the stage for the candy layers. The vibrant Tamgerine Candy Concentrate and Sarsaparilla Candy Concentrate were blended with HR Reducers for smooth application and color control. For added depth and transition, HC2104 High Solids Clearcoat was applied between layers. To seal the finish and deliver a mirror-like gloss, Natez topped it off with HC895 Intearcoat & Clearcoat, known for its durability and high-shine performance.
This helmet is more than just gear, it’s a canvas of creativity and craftsmanship.
