Have you ever wanted to try a painting class? There’s no need to worry about where to go, just head on over at Pistolero Designs! They offer hands-on classes in Texas. You’ll even get one of the most skilled artists as your teacher, Mr. Jose Mendoza.
Jose is a celebrated automotive customization painter and it’s great to know that he’s got a class filled with future artists. And for these classes, he used the very supreme products of Tamco Paint.
To demonstrate his expertise, Jose rounded up everyone in his class and advised them to follow his lead.
For this project, the process started with the HR397W Waterbourne Wax & Grease Remover and HR398 Final Wipe to create a clean surface, one that takes away contaminants and deflects specs of dust that may come its way. Next was the HP5319 Grey DTM (Direct to Metal) Primer Kit to create a foundation that maximizes adhesion and is strong and sturdy enough for the coming layers.
The first paint that was applied was the Slick Silver Metallic. It gives the projects the perfect shine wherever it goes and whatever it reaches. Over that was the Teal Time - Candy Concentrate, a vibrant shade of blue that instantly attracts attention. Next was the PennyWyze - Candy Concentrate, a hue that gives off a dazzling richness.
To keep everything in place and seal all the coats, the HC895 Intercoat & Clearcoat Kit and HC9500 Hi-Speed Impact 30 Min Clearcoat Kit was used. This also allowed some added gloss and long-lasting durability. To ensure an efficient application, the Tamco T-Cups - Spray gun liner system was used.
The students learned more than just painting, they learned about art. Jose Mendoza did a really great job when he became the teacher, he helped future painters thanks to his very own artistry. And Tamco Paint products were the perfect choice for this type of class.
