The car was a total custom build designed to look exactly like an ice cream cone, made by Tyler, his younger brother and, his father. To make sure the finish was top notch, the team used numerous products from Tamco Paint. They started the project by laying down HP661 Grey DTA Epoxy Kit to create a tough foundation. After that, they used HP5310 Grey DTM Primer and Forever Seal to make sure the body was perfectly smooth and ready to handle the wear and tear of the race track. To lock in the look and give the car a deep professional shine they finished everything off with European HS Clearcoat.
It was a fun project that proved how a little imagination and the right materials can lead to a big win on the podium. And Greg, one of the Tamco techs, shared that he donated the products that Tyler used in the build, because he just wanted to help. Impressive!
