HC2104 HIGH SOLIDS CLEARCOAT | MARK SCHIERHOLZ | BAND SET

Mark Schierholz just finished an electrifying new color on a friend’s band set, an elegant pearl finish that shines and luminous under the stage lights. Using his own blend of HC895 Intercoat & Clearcoat Kit and European clear, he achieved that shifting effect where colors changes depending on angle and lighting. Tamco’s Intercoat & Clearcoat (54% solids) is renowned for burying pearls in deep gloss while offering UV resistance and mirror‑like finish.

Mark began with meticulous prep fine sanding and a black basecoat to intensify contrast then mixed the pearl into the HC895 Intercoat & Clearcoat. After the even mid‑coat application, he sealed it with multiple layers of HC2104 High Solids Clearcoat Kit, building depth and that flawless glass finish. The result is a stunning bass set that will surely captivate not only the ears when it played, but also the eyes that watches the state.
