Wayne Lepage at Wildwood Graffix, is currently working on a complex paint job that involve multiple layers of color and technique. He started with a custom Tamco Dark Red Violet basecoat, then added a marbleized effect for depth. Next, he applied an over-reduced Intensity Black Out Black mixed with HC895 Intercoat & Clearcoat and Cobalt candy concentrate, creating a striking contrast. The final step will be to bury the piece in Brandywine candy and seal it with HC2104 High Solids Clearcoat. While the marbleized effect was initially unexpected, it has grown on both the client and the painter, promising a stunning final result.
