Chris Bunn of BodiesByBunn LLC took his craft to the next level with a striking finish created using a complete Tamco Paint system. His project showcased not only his skill but also the depth and vibrancy that Tamco products can deliver when used together in a professional process.
The foundation began with HP5312 White DTM (Direct to Metal) Primer Kit, paired with HH3100 Primer Hardener, to establish a smooth, durable base for the paint layers to follow. On top of this, Chris applied Slick Silver Metallic, creating a sleek and reflective surface that set the stage for the vibrant topcoat.
With the groundwork laid, he moved on to Rock It Red, a bold and energetic hue that popped beautifully over the metallic silver beneath it. This combination brought a layered, dimensional effect to the vehicle, balancing intensity with sophistication. To ensure proper blending and flow, HR Reducers were incorporated during the process.
Finally, the finish was locked in and perfected with HC2021 High Solids Clearcoat (applied in three coats), activated by HH61 Hardener. This not only enhanced the depth and shine of the paint but also provided long-lasting protection against the elements.
The result? A flawless, head-turning finish that speaks to Chris’s artistry and his ability to maximize the full potential of Tamco’s paint system.
