Custom painter Tim Simpson knows how to make a motorcycle part stand out, and his latest project proves it. Tasked with refinishing a Ducati side fairing, Tim used a bold combination of Tamco Paint products to create a striking look that balances crisp detail with vibrant color.
He began with Basecoat Factory Packs (HB9901 Bright White), laying the foundation for a clean, sharp finish. Over this, Tim applied Tamco’s Rock It Red, a color known for its intensity and ability to turn heads. To ensure flawless flow and depth, he worked with HR Reducers, before sealing the project with HC7677 Hi-Impact Clearcoat Kit. The result is a Ducati side fairing that captures attention with both brilliance and durability.
This project is a perfect showcase of how the right combination of Tamco products can take a motorcycle from standard to unforgettable, highlighting Tim’s talent and eye for detail.
