Jose Mendoza, a talented painter and owner of Pistolero Designs, has once again proven his mastery of custom automotive finishes. His latest creation, a breathtaking Rose Gold GMC beast, stands as a bold example of artistry meeting technical expertise. With its shimmering glow and flawless depth, this truck is more than just transportation, it’s a rolling statement piece.
The process began with a thorough surface prep, using HR397W Waterbourne Wax & Grease Remover followed by HR398 Final Wipe to eliminate contaminants. This careful attention to preparation ensured a flawless base for the custom work ahead.
From there, Mendoza applied HP5310 Grey DTM (Direct to Metal) Primer Kit, building a strong foundation to enhance adhesion and durability. With the base secured, it was time for the star of the show, Tamco Paint’s Rose Gold. This luxurious metallic tone, mixed with HR Reducers for ideal flow, laid down evenly across the GMC’s body, giving it a vibrant yet refined brilliance.
To complete the finish, Mendoza applied HC2104 High Solids Clearcoat, sealing the Rose Gold beneath a deep, mirror-like gloss. Not only does this clearcoat amplify the metallic shimmer, but it also ensures long-lasting protection against the elements.
The final product is nothing short of spectacular. Mendoza’s Rose Gold GMC radiates sophistication, commanding attention wherever it goes. His work is a shining example of how Tamco Paint’s premium products and a painter’s vision can come together to create automotive art.
