CanDe Customs transformed this Mustang convertible into a bold and colorful masterpiece using a custom mix of Tamco Paint products. The project started with a solid foundation using the HP5310 Grey DTM (Direct to Metal) Primer Kit, ensuring durability and long-lasting adhesion. A reflective layer of Slick Silver Metallic was then applied to create depth and enhance the brilliance of the colors that followed.
The striking lower panels and wheels were finished in Sexy AF Pink, while a clean stripe of Stars and Stripes White Pearl added definition and contrast to the design. To achieve the deep, vibrant blue that dominates the body, CanDe Customs combined SoCal Blue Candy Pearl Basecoat with Freedom Blue, creating a rich and eye-catching finish that pops under sunlight.
To perfect the job, HR Reducers were used throughout for flawless blending, and the entire car was sealed with HC2104 High Solids Clearcoat for a glossy, high-quality shine. For added durability and a faster curing process, they finished the project with HC9500 Hi-Speed Impact 30 Min Clearcoat, giving the Mustang both toughness and show-stopping appeal.
The result is a unique and vibrant ride that reflects CanDe Customs’ creativity and precision, all brought to life with Tamco Paint’s top-tier products.
