Sergio Cantu took this Chevrolet Corvette from standard to showstopper with an expertly executed custom paint job using Tamco Paint’s Stars & Stripes White Pearl. The process began with meticulous preparation and the application of HP5312 White DTM (Direct to Metal) Primer Kit, creating a strong, smooth foundation for the layers ahead.
To ensure maximum adhesion and long-term protection, Sergio followed with a coat of Forever Seal, locking in the surface and creating the perfect base for the pearl color. The centerpiece of the transformation, Stars & Stripes White Pearl, was then applied, giving the Corvette an unmistakable shimmer that shifts subtly under different lighting conditions.
HR Reducers were incorporated to achieve a flawless, even flow during application, helping the pearl finish lay down silky smooth. For the final touch, Sergio sealed the project with HC2104 High Solids Clearcoat, adding a deep, glass-like gloss while protecting the vibrant pearl effect from UV rays, weather, and wear.
The result? A Corvette that doesn’t just turn heads, it commands attention, reflecting the dedication of its painter and the unmatched quality of Tamco Paint’s custom finishes.
