TAMCO THROWBACK LEMANS BLUE | AUSTIN RIDDLE | 1972 PLYMOUTH DUSTER

Austin Riddle brought a 1972 Plymouth Duster back to life with a crisp and clean finish using Tamco’s Throwback Lemans Blue and HC2104 High Solids Clearcoat.

The process began with a thorough surface preparation using HR397W Waterbourne Wax & Grease Remover followed by HR398 Final Wipe, ensuring the body was free from contaminants. HP5310 Grey DTM (Direct to Metal) Primer Kit was then applied to create a smooth, durable base for the vibrant color. Austin carefully laid down Throwback Lemans Blue, enhanced with HR Reducers for perfect flow and leveling. The job was completed with HC2104 High Solids Clearcoat, giving the Duster a deep, glossy finish that highlights every curve and detail while providing lasting protection.

The result is a timeless, showroom-worthy restoration that blends classic muscle car charm with modern durability, ensuring this 1972 Plymouth Duster turns heads for years to come.
