The 2002 Mazda RX7, painted by Danny Collazo of FCAutoLab, is a rolling masterpiece finished in Tamco Paint's Lipstick Custom Color. This striking build proves how personal style and creativity can transform a car into a true work of art. With its rich red tones and flawless finish, the RX7 commands attention at every angle, embodying the perfect blend of performance and artistry.
The build has already made its mark at shows across 2023 and 2024, taking home multiple accolades, including Best Import and Best Paint at the Rocking Summer & Brews Car & Bike Show. These awards highlight not only the captivating nature of the Lipstick color but also the precision and skill behind FCAutoLab’s work.
The layered process began with HR397W Waterbourne Wax & Grease Remover and HR398 Final Wipe to ensure a spotless surface. A strong foundation was then built using HP5312 White DTM (Direct to Metal) Primer Kit combined with HH3100 Primer Hardener. From there, the bold Lipstick Custom Color was applied and activated with HR Reducers, before being sealed and enhanced with HC2104 High Solids Clearcoat. The result is a deep, glass-like finish built to shine on and off the show floor.
