The real automotive transformation is here! Richard Kyle of RK Custom Paint shared the before and after process of repainting the Nissan S13 of Alexander, highlighting the gorgeous color Tamco Paint’s Monroe Pink.
The process began with the combination of HR397W Waterbourne Wax & Grease Remover and HR398 Final Wipe, removing dirt and residue ensuring a clean surface for the process to begin. Richard next applied the HP5310 Grey DTM Primer and with an innovative mind, he made it to a dark grey using a black toner. To conceal dents and create a solid base, he also used DTM Primer which is reduced as a sealer. Then came the elegant color of Monroe Pink, carefully and precisely applied to the surface of the car, ensuring an even and flawless touch. To create a strong protective coat for this adventurous car, he locked it with HC2104 High Solids Clearcoat. To achieve accuracy and make this paintwork easier, Tamco T-Cups - Spray gun cup liner system was a big help especially for complicated and big projects.
The result will make you wonder how impressive this transformation is. From a dented body, to a flawless and elegant look. This car is not only photoshoot-ready, but can run extreme adventures like it was before.
