For classic car enthusiasts, the paint job is often the crown jewel of a restoration, and this 1979 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 proves exactly why. Devin Russo brought this muscle car back to life using Tamco Paint’s My Boy Blue Custom Color, creating a finish that is bold, clean, and unforgettable. To give it that deep, glass-like shine and lasting protection, the project was finished with HC4100 Glamour Clearcoat Kit.
Every step of the process showcased attention to detail and Tamco quality. The build started with HR397W Waterbourne Wax & Grease Remover and HR398 Final Wipe to ensure a flawless surface. HP5310 Grey DTM (Direct to Metal) Primer Kit and Forever Seal laid the foundation, while Basecoat Factory Packs (HB9900 Jet Black) were used to enhance depth. Once the stunning My Boy Blue was applied, HR Reducers ensured smooth and consistent coverage. Finally, the Tamco T-Cups - Spray gun cup liner system made application clean and efficient, keeping every layer perfect.
The end result? A Camaro Z28 that commands attention and celebrates the art of custom paintwork. Thanks to Russo’s craftsmanship and Tamco’s high-performance products, this classic muscle car is once again turning heads wherever it goes.
