Despite its young age, the 2020 Harley-Davidson Road Glide Custom was already customized by Mike Buschman using some Tamco Paint products. But that doesn’t mean that it would fail. In fact, this Tamco Ground Up makeover is a hit with the people.
This project began with the HR397 Wax & Grease Remover and HR398 Final Wipe. These two products were used to ensure a clean and contaminant-free surface, no dust particles or specs of dirty should be seen. Then came the DTM Primer Kits. The HP5311 Black DTM (Direct to Metal) Primer Kit and HP5312 White DTM (Direct to Metal) Primer Kit were to make sure that the foundation of the vehicle would be strong and sturdy, it needed to be the best. Another reason was for maximum adhesion.
First paint color was My Boy Blue. This shade of blue is majestic, bold, and vibrant. It really stands out in the crowd, even in a sea of blue hues you’ll definitely see this bike. And what more when Mike added the Murdered Out Black 2.0 at the top of the vehicle, creating a very sleek contrast.
The HC9500 Hi-Speed Impact 30 Min Clearcoat Kit was also applied to keep the paints intact, have longer lasting durability, and also that added extra glossy effect. The Amerflint II Clearcoat Kit was also added.
The end result is a ride that is absolutely spectacular. The impressive application of the paints showcases the renowned artistry of Kenneth and striking colors of Tamco Paint displays their promise of delivery.
