21 is a big number, it’s a reminder that you’re getting older and that you should enjoy things that you love to do. That’s what Elmer Rodriguez did. When he turned 21, he did his full paint job and the final build is magnificent. His use of My Boy Blue by Tamco Paint on a 2006 Chevrolet Silverado was well handled and he couldn’t have done it better.
But it isn’t just the use of the paint that makes this story special, it’s the story that really gives it a whole new meaning. This is Elmer’s very first project and it was under his shop’s too, RDZ_Detailz. Having a shop from ground up by himself displays determination and love for the craft, and his natural talent showcases it all.
My Boy Blue is a vibrant and bold color, it’s a great way to stand out especially when used with precision and carefulness. And being on top of a clean silver base really makes it shine and shimmer when placed under any lighting. The smooth application is credited to his attention to detail.
Elmer admitted that the truck is special to him and we’re beaming with pride that his work is being flaunted. It doesn’t matter that this was a first time project, the truck is still a masterpiece. Elmer’s artistry is something he should be very proud of, and Tamco Paint’s prime products are honored to be a part of the start of his journey.
