The 1964 Chevrolet Chevy II Nova is a classic that deserves nothing less than a finish to match its heritage. Elijah Vaudt Custom Painting delivered exactly that, using a combination of Tamco Paint’s GM Nantucket Blue Poly and Argent Silver Metallic. Together, these two vintage-inspired OEM colors highlight the Nova’s sharp lines and give it a sleek, timeless look that stands out with both elegance and muscle car attitude.
The process started with proper prep work, including HR397W Waterbourne Wax & Grease Remover and HR398 Final Wipe, followed by HP661 Grey DTA Epoxy (Direct to Anything) Kit for a strong foundation and HP2010 Top Dawg Adhesion Promoter for lasting durability. The Nova was then sprayed in the rich Nantucket Blue Poly, accented with Argent Silver Metallic, and finally sealed with HC2104 High Solids Clearcoat for a deep, glossy finish. The result is a beautifully restored classic that looks ready for both the street and the show floor.
