Jeff Monchilov of Speedvette gave this 1984 GMC Dually shop truck a full restoration using Tamco Paint’s Ford Harbor Blue OEM Basecoat. What was once a black truck with a charcoal interior is now a clean Blue on Black custom build that stands out both on the road and at the shop.
The Ford Harbor Blue OEM Basecoat color gave the truck a rich classic look with deep shine and smooth coverage. Jeff finished the build with Tamco’s HC2104 High Solids Clearcoat, helping give the paint a glossy finish with great depth and durability. He also tinted the Raptor Liner using Harbor Blue base for a clean and matching custom touch throughout the build.
One of the most unique parts of this project is the matching Speedvette stroller painted in Harbor Blue for his 1-year-old grandson, making this build even more special and personal.
This project shows how the right products, attention to detail, and passion for custom builds can bring new life to a classic GMC truck while creating something meaningful for the whole family.
