The project began with a solid foundation of HP5310 DTM Grey (Direct to Metal) Primer Kit, ensuring the surface was ready for maximum adhesion and longevity. Once prepped, Chris laid down the Porsche Nato Olive | L6H | 2020 | OEM Basecoat, allowing the widebody design to pop with its unconventional but captivating tone. With the help of HR Reducers for smooth application and Tamco’s HC4100 Glamour Clearcoat Kit for a durable, high-gloss finish, the transformation came together perfectly.
This build proves how the right combination of Tamco products can elevate a classic import into a modern custom masterpiece. Chris Mckenney’s 180SX is now a head-turner that blends heritage styling with a daring color choice.
