The ’55 Chevrolet build by Richard Jennings is a true ground-up masterpiece, showcasing both craftsmanship and the power of Tamco Paint’s premium products. With a striking two-tone combination of Chevrolet Seamist Green and Chevrolet Indian Ivory, Jennings created a timeless and elegant finish that captures the essence of classic automotive style. His meticulous attention to detail brought this build to life, blending tradition with durability through Tamco’s high-performance coatings.
To achieve this stunning result, the process began with HP661 Grey DTA Epoxy (Direct to Anything) Kit, providing maximum adhesion and corrosion resistance across the surface. Next, HP5310 Grey DTM (Direct to Metal) Primer Kit was applied to establish a smooth and durable foundation. The build was then sealed with Forever Seal before moving into color. Jennings applied Chevrolet Seamist Green and Chevrolet Indian Ivory to create the bold two-tone design, complemented by AG Series Single Stage Factory Pack Kit (AG900 Jet Black) for rich contrast. For proper flow and smooth coverage, HR Reducers were used, along with HH57 Basecoat Hardener to strengthen the layers. Finally, the project was finished with HC2104 High Solids Clearcoat, adding gloss, depth, and long-lasting protection that elevated this classic Chevrolet into a true showpiece.
