Automotive customization is more than paint, it’s self-expression on wheels. Chas Terrell brought this philosophy to life with his 1990 Nissan 300ZX Twin Turbo, transforming it into a rolling work of art through meticulous preparation and bold color choices.
The process began with HP3503 White Forever Seal, ensuring a strong, lasting foundation for the paint to adhere to. Once the surface was prepped, Terrell reached for Murdered Out Black as a dramatic basecoat, providing depth and contrast that would make the final finish stand out. To introduce vibrancy, he layered on Custom Color Chas Terrel | Pineapple Pearl | Basecoat, a dazzling shade that catches the light with dynamic brilliance.
To maintain proper consistency and flawless flow throughout the application, HR Reducers were used. For added durability and performance, HH57 Basecoat Hardener was incorporated into the process, strengthening the finish against everyday wear. The paintwork was then locked in and perfected with HC4100 Glamour Clearcoat Kit, delivering a sleek, glossy surface worthy of show-level quality.
Of course, no detail was overlooked, from the use of Paint Strainers to keep impurities out of the mix, to Wooden Mixing Sticks that ensured accuracy in blending, every step reflected Chas Terrell’s dedication to craftsmanship.
The result? A 1990 Nissan 300ZX Twin Turbo that radiates individuality, showcasing both the artist’s talent and the unmatched performance of Tamco Paint’s products.
