Gary Burkholder, a novice in the world of spray guns, took on a new challenge with admirable enthusiasm. For his '28 Ford sedan project, he ventured into the realm of spray painting using HP5310 Grey DTM Primer. In his inaugural attempt, Gary mixed the primer at a ratio of 4:1 (without reducer), utilized a 2.3 tip, and maintained a gun pressure of 32 psi. Applying three coats with a 50% overlap and working in a temperature of 75°F, Gary showcased his attention to detail. This initial foray into spray painting not only reflects Gary's willingness to step outside his comfort zone but also highlights his meticulous approach in ensuring a successful outcome for his project.
