Scot McDonald had to make sure not to embarrass himself when it came to rebuilding the look of the 1968 Chevrolet Nova owned by Lee Sawyer. The classic vehicle has been given a Tamco Ground Up, and the finish is breathtakingly fresh.
To create this one-of-a-kind look, the surface of the vehicle must first be very clean and free from contaminants, and thus, the use of the HR397W Waterbourne Wax & Grease Remover and HR398 Final Wipe were handy. Then to make the best foundation along with achieving the maximum adhesion, he used the HP5312 White DTM (Direct to Metal) Primer Kit. It was after that when the Ron Burgundy Pearl was applied. Its rich and vibrant color gave the car’s definitive accents, thus commanding attention as it glides through the road. Finally, to keep all the coats intact and locked in, he used the HC2104 High Solids Clearcoat.
It’s no surprise that Lee was very impressed with the final results. Everything in the vision was perfectly executed. Scot being able to tell the difference between which paint products to use comes into an advantage, knowing fully well that only Tamco Paint has the best that can be offered.
