To be able to transform a motorcycle, Derek Quick used the Secret Silver of Tamco Paint, a unique shade that was perfect for his unique craftsmanship. The Secret Silver is discern and subtle but has a very powerful appearance. With its gleaming and modish look, he managed to make the Harley Davidson FXDB into a powerhouse of a bike.
For this look, he first painted on the HP5310 Grey DTM (Direct to Metal) Primer Kit for the smoothest and study foundation with maximum adhesion. After was the Basecoat Factory Packs (HB9900 Jet Black) to add some depth. After that was when he added the Secret Silver, it created the metallic effect and it matched well with the bike’s style. He also used the HC2104 High Solids Clearcoat to keep everything intact and protected with some more shimmy for more fancy. The Universal Flattening Agent was also used as the final touch.
It’s obvious the desired look Derek wanted was achieved. The attention the bike’s getting is huge, it definitely stands out. Surely, you wouldn’t want to miss seeing this.
