Dan Johnson of Johnson Mechanical & Restoration LLC brought both skill and heart into his latest custom project, a 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle owned by Fred Foster and it was finished in Tamco Paint’s Shamrock Green.
In order to ensure that this Chevelle will have a killer look that has smooth and sleek finish Dan made sure that he followed a meticulous process in revamping this vehicle. The process began with HR397W Waterbourne Wax & Grease Remover and HR398 Final Wipe to ensure a spotless surface. Then he laid down HP5310 Grey DTM (Direct to Metal) Primer Kit followed by HP3502 Black Forever Seal, providing an excellent adhesion between the body and the paint to ensure longevity and durability. Then he proceed in applying the deep yet vibrant hue under Tamco Paint's custom colors, the Shamrock Green, it was mixed with HR Reducers and HH57 Basecoat Hardener to maximize durability and color depth. To lock it all in, he finished the build with the HC4100 Glamour Clearcoat Kit, giving the Chevelle a show-quality gloss and long-lasting protection.
It was a rolling masterpiece of Dan. This project is a living proof that Dan's expertise in automotive painting is excellent! Indeed, a killer build, hats off Dan!
