A 1959 Chevrolet Impala is one of the most classic, vintage cars out there especially at this time. So imagine people’s surprise when it’s painted a vibrant and daring color that no one expected. Well, Nathan definitely is full of surprises, he chose a green hue for this type of car after all. He also partnered with Tamco Paint for this Tamco Ground Up makeover, and it was worth it.
To get this makeover, Nathan used the HP5310 Grey DTM (Direct to Metal) Primer Kit to be able to create a strong and solid foundation as well as prepare for the best adhesion. Next, he used the Slick Silver Metallic, a metallic coat that would allow the vehicle to shine everywhere it went.
Then he put the Shamrock Green. Again, the green is a huge surprise but it shows just how creative Nathan is. Each line and curve of the vehicle was put with absolute precision, too. It also shows that he knows exactly what he’s doing.
Finally, he added the HC2104 High Solids Clearcoat for all the coats to stay intact as well as added protection.
But, it’s not a surprise that Tamco Paint delivered one of the best products they have. And lending the spotlight to Nathan’s craftsmanship for awhile will be worth it.
