Tamco Paint Shocktop Orange in 1967 Chevrolet Corvette C2
Tamco Paint Shocktop Orange in 1967 Chevrolet Corvette C2

Bob Hanstra thought of finally using Tamco Paint products to paint a 1967 Chevrolet Corvette C2. It was a journey for him to finally decide on using the Tamco Paint products. He even did a Ground Up makeover! So for sure he was not disappointed. Read on to find out why.

But for a bit of a background, for this project he first used the HP663 White DTA (Direct to Anything) Epoxy Kit to ensure a solid, clean, and strong foundation, allowing maximum adhesion and durability. After that, he put on the ShockTop Orange, a bright and yes, shocking, orange that emits so much energy of confidence and star power. Finally, he applied on the HC4100 Glamour Clearcoat Kit for better durability and add more gloss as well as to keep all the coats locked in.

Due to his skills and ideas, Bob won the Best of Show award during the September 2023 Don Schumacher Racing Open House/Car Show. This is a testament that he truly is an artist and is fit to be called a professional car painter.
