The project started with a reliable foundation, HP5311 Black DTM (Direct to Metal) Primer Kit, to ensure strong adhesion and a smooth surface. Once the primer was perfectly prepped, Leonard applied layers of Smoke Metallic, bringing out its deep, refined tones and highlighting the tank’s curves with a sophisticated shimmer. To finish, he sealed the work with HC4100 Glamour Clearcoat Kit, adding a durable, high-gloss finish that enhances the metallic brilliance while protecting the paint from the elements.
The combination of primer, metallic base, and glamour clear demonstrates Leonard’s dedication to both durability and beauty. The result is a motorcycle tank that not only commands attention but also maintains its brilliance ride after ride.
