There are many car enthusiasts who admire the 1966 Ford Mustang, and Austin Bochman is one of them. His skills as a painter gave him the chance to create a breathtaking transformation, that is, giving the Mustang a complete makeover. He combined the colors of Murdered Out Black 2.0 (the basecoat) with highlights of Toxicity, both by Tamco Paint. It was a head-turning combination, the color scheme was dynamic and shocking that it easily caught everyone’s attention.
For this project, Austin began with the HP5310 Grey DTM (Direct to Metal) Primer Kit to keep a strong and solid foundation, then it was followed by the Forever Seal to make sure that there would be proper adhesion and accuracy of color. The unique blending of Toxicity and Murdered Out Black 2.0 shined all throughout the process, with its lively and vivid nature. The project was then sealed by using the HC2104 High Solids Clearcoat, which gave it a twinkling shine and enduring protection.
The Mustang’s makeover shows real artistry with its creativity and precision and dedication. It keeps everyone’s thoughts race knowing that there is no limit to custom painting when it comes to automotives.
