"DTA" (Direct to Anything) epoxy primer sealer is formulated to adhere to a wide range of substrates, including aluminum, steel, carbon fiber, and glass, without the need for an additional etch primer. With its exceptional adhesion—it sticks to virtually anything! By incorporating a unique resin, Tamco ensures excellent adhesion to these diverse materials, simplifying the priming process and enhancing overall performance. This means you can achieve strong adhesion and corrosion resistance across multiple surfaces with just one product, streamlining your workflow and delivering consistent, reliable results.

Beyond its outstanding adhesion, "DTA" offers top-notch corrosion resistance, along with rust encapsulator technology providing added protection against rust and other forms of corrosion. This technology is specifically engineered to adhere to and bond with corroded substrates, forming a permanent barrier that prevents oxygen from interacting with the iron surface, thereby eliminating the potential for oxide or rust formation. While it's not recommended to apply this primer over heavy rust, it has demonstrated the ability to withstand harsh conditions.

One of the standout features of "DTA" is its ability to be re-coated or top-coated within 14 days. This flexibility makes it ideal for long-term restoration projects where the vehicle may need to remain in primer for extended periods. Perfect

Product went down with a 1.4 tip I should have used a 1.3 on a Iwata LS Supernova gun otherwise it laid out perfectly as described.

Tamco purchase review

Product HP-662 sprayed very well. HP-5310 primer also spayed well. The 5310 is a 4:2:1 mixing ratio. This is 2 parts HR-1370 reducer. Unfortunately I did not know that I needed 2 quarts of reducer and only ordered one for the gallon of primer. Now I have to do a separate order for another quart and pay shipping to finish using my gallon of primer. It would have been nice for Tamco to tell me that. Also it would be nice if you sent the SDS’s and technical data sheets with the order. These should be included with the shipment in case of a spill during transit

DTA Epoxy Primer

I am just starting to learn and I picked up a project truck. I picked Tamco because of the great product information they provide on each product like the DTA Epoxy Primer. I have used this on my practice piece and it adhered perfect and also smoothed out to a great extent after amateur application techniques. It sanded well and after a coat of sealer on top the base coat came out perfectly smooth. I am extremely excited to put this product on a couple of other projects.

Tamco Paint's shipping fees are "real time rates" meaning, we charge you what it costs to ship depending on what you ordered and where it is shipping. That said, we offer free shipping to the lower 48 states in the USA if your order is $500+!
