Richard Romanelli took his bass guitar kit build to the next level with a finish that’s as stunning as the sound it produces. Using Tamco Paint’s SoCal Blue Candy Pearl Basecoat, he achieved a fade burst effect on the guitar’s edges, creating a rich, shimmering blue that beautifully accentuates the instrument’s curves.
To ensure a smooth application, Richard paired the basecoat with Tamco HR Reducers, giving the paint the perfect flow and consistency. He then sealed the project with Tamco’s HC2104 High Solids Clearcoat, providing a durable, glass-like finish that enhances the depth and brilliance of the candy pearl.
The end result is a show-stopping bass guitar that doesn’t just play well, it looks like a true work of art. Richard’s craftsmanship, combined with Tamco’s high-quality products, brought this build to life in the most eye-catching way possible.
