Evil Clown Customs showcased the true potential of this color with a stunning transformation. The process began with a thorough cleaning using HR397W Waterbourne Wax & Grease Remover followed by HR398 Final Wipe to ensure the surface was completely contaminant-free. For a solid foundation, they applied HP5310 Grey DTM (Direct to Metal) Primer Kit, setting the stage for maximum adhesion and durability.
The team then laid down Slick Silver Metallic as the ground coat, providing a reflective base that would intensify the candy’s depth. Over this, the breathtaking SoCal Candy Pearl Basecoat was applied, enriched with Black Metal Candy Concentrate for subtle shading and dimension. Between layers, HC895 Intercoat & Clearcoat was used for a smooth, controlled application.
To achieve a flawless blend and consistency, HR Reducers were used throughout. The finishing touch came with HC2104 High Solids Clearcoat, sealing in the color with a deep, glossy finish that enhances the pearl’s shimmer.
The result? A Corvette Vallara that’s impossible to ignore, rich in color, sleek in finish, and a true testament to the artistry of Evil Clown Customs and the performance of Tamco Paint products.
