Painter Mike Tewell did not hold back when he used Tamco Paint products to make a complete Tamco Ground Up makeover. He and Austin Tewell (car prepper) knew that their 2007 Chevrolet Cobalt would be unstoppable when they’re done. And with a sight like their shiny, blue-shade car, well, no one would blame them!

To get this suave look, Mike started with the HP5311 Black DTM (Direct to Metal) Primer Kit for the best adhesion as well as to make the foundation more strong and solid. Then he painted on 3 coats of Gunmetal, a sleek and stylish hue. And on top of it he painted on 4 coats of the SoCal Blue - Candy Pearl Basecoat, the most sophisticated and elegant shade of blue there is. When he was done, the finishing touch was the HC4100 Glamorous Clearcoat to create even more shimmer and durability.

For the process, he also used the Paint Strainers and Wooden Mixing Sticks.

The hard work paid off, the car is a success. People flock around it, wondering how they can make something like it. One thing’s for sure, you need Tamco Paint products to get this look!
