Luke Nelson took that timeless appeal and elevated it to a whole new level with a paint job that’s as bold as it is beautiful, using Tamco Paint’s SoCal Candy Pearl Basecoat over Slick Silver Metallic for a jaw-dropping finish.
The transformation started with a durable base of Forever Seal, ensuring maximum adhesion and corrosion protection. Luke then applied Slick Silver Metallic, creating a reflective, shimmering foundation that would enhance the candy’s depth. Over this base, he layered the rich SoCal Candy Pearl Basecoat, producing an eye-catching blue tone with mesmerizing dimension.
To ensure a flawless flow and perfect blending, HR Reducers were used during application. Finally, the project was sealed with HC2104 High Solids Clearcoat, adding a deep, glossy finish that enhances the pearl effect while delivering long-lasting protection.
The result is nothing short of spectacular, a Chevrolet C10 that not only honors its classic roots but also makes a powerful statement wherever it goes.
