Chad Hinton wanted his ride to stand out from the ordinary, trading in traditional car colors for something bold and unforgettable. With Tamco Paint’s Viral Red, he achieved a vibrant, attention-grabbing finish that demands a second look every time it hits the road. Paired with a high-gloss clearcoat, this build shows exactly what’s possible with the right products and a passion for custom color.
The process began with thorough surface prep, using HR397 and HR398 Final Wipe to ensure a clean, contaminant-free foundation. DTM Primer Kit was then applied to create a strong base layer for excellent adhesion. Chad followed with Viral Red, a striking custom color that adds energy and personality to the entire build. HR Reducers were used to achieve a smooth, even application across every coat.
Finally, the project was finished with HC2104 High Solids Clearcoat, giving the car a deep, glass-like gloss that not only enhances the brilliance of Viral Red but also provides long-lasting protection. With Tamco T-Cups making the spraying process easier and cleaner, the final result is a show-ready ride built to turn heads.
