Jesse Johnson gave this classic '89 Toyota a refreshed and timeless look using Tamco Paint’s Toyota Dark Blue. This rich OEM color was the perfect choice to enhance the vehicle’s factory style while bringing back its original vibrance and depth. The result is a clean, modernized finish that highlights every curve and line of this classic Toyota.
The project started with careful prep and cleaning before laying down Toyota Dark Blue | 8E2 | 1987-1990 | OEM Basecoat, ensuring the car retained its factory-correct color. HR Reducers were used throughout the process for a smooth, even application and excellent color flow. To protect the finish and provide a long-lasting, high-gloss shine, HC2104 High Solids Clearcoat was applied as the final layer, sealing in the rich blue tone and ensuring durability for years to come.
This build is a perfect example of how quality products and skilled hands can restore a vehicle’s classic beauty while making it stand out on today’s roads.
